Children’s Ministry Meeting

There is a Children’s Ministry meeting scheduled for March 21 at 5:00 pm.  All Awana, Kids Church and Jr Kids Church workers should plan to attend.

Good Friday Service

The Community Good Friday Service will be held at CIC this year.  Join us on April 2 at 7:00 pm as we remember the death of our Lord.

Let Liberty Ring

Mike Becht and Bryan Wickens (from ROCK – Reclaim Our Culture Kentuckiana) are excited to announce that Let Liberty Ring will be on 94.7 WFIA FM and 900 WFIA AM on the Salem Radio Network, daily from 2-3 p.m.! A daily radio outreach is an opportunity that rarely comes along and will allow greater impact with the ability to reach even more listeners. Mike and Bryan look forward to having you join them every day from 2-3 p.m. - don't miss it!
Tune in on Monday, March 1st, to hear how what is happening locally, regionally and around
the nation impacts you right here at home. And find out what YOU can do to make a real difference where you live, work and raise your families!

CIC Maintenance List

Have you noticed something at CIC that needs to be repaired?  If you see something that needs to be done, please write it down on the new Maintenance List located in the Information Center.  The Sunday night crew will check this list weekly, so there’s no need to track someone down to tell them about a problem, just write it on the form.

Sermon Recordings Available

Audio cassette tapes or CDs of individual sermons or sermon series are available free by completing the sermon tape or CD request and placing it in the request box at the Information Center.

Aluminum cans

Did you know that CIC collects aluminum cans to recycle?  The proceeds go to the Awana program.  Please bring your cans in a garbage bag and place them in the bin behind the garage.  Thanks for your help!

Cell phones for soldiers

The Cell Phones for Soldiers program was started in April 2004 by 13-year-old Brittany Bergquist and her 12-year-old brother Robbie of Norwell, Massachusetts.

Robbie and Brittany's goal is to help our soldiers serving overseas call home. They hope to provide as many soldiers as possible with prepaid calling cards. Through generous donations and the recycling of used cell phones, Robbie and Brittany have already distributed thousands of calling cards to soldiers around the globe.

So if you have old cell phones lying around your house, bring them to CIC and we will mail them for you, or visit www.cellphonesforsoldiers.com to print a pre-paid shipping label to send it in.

Children's Easter Celebration

The Children's Annual Easter Celebration will be held on April 3.  We need LOTS of individually wrapped candy for this event.  Please bring your candy donation to the Information Center by March

28.  Thanks for your help!

Youth Lock In

The Youth will have their annual Lock In at Walnut Street Baptist Church on Friday, March 19.  It will last from 11:00 pm – 7:00 am and the cost is $5.  The teens need to meet at the church at 10:00 pm.  Chaperones are needed for this activity.  Please see Rich Evans if you would like to help.

Women’s Bible study

The Women's Bible Study meets Tuesdays at 10 a.m. in room ED105.

Did you know?
On the first and second Thursday of the month, members of CIC visit the residents of the Sellersburg Health & Rehabilitation Center (SHARC) at 6:30 pm. There is inspirational singing and a devotional message. We would love for you to join us!

Save your ink cartridges

If you use HP, Lexmark, or Dell ink cartridges, you can turn in your empty cartridges to CIC and we will get credit towards our ink usage. For every 5 cartridges we collect, we will get a refilled cartridge free.  You may drop off your cartridges in Debbie Dockter's office.
